A deal has been secured between Acal and computing technology manufacturer Hectronic for a total of £1.2 million.
Surrey-based Acal, which provides technology services and products to the electronics, supply chain and medical markets, confirmed the acquisition this week.
The deal sees yet another step into the Nordic market for Acal, as the company has been bought from majority shareholders Verdane Capital III AS.It is the second acquisition this year for the company, which will buy out the whole company for cash, after it took over CompoTON GmbH earlier this year, M&A Deals reported.
Bosses paid £7.1 million for the German company, which supplies electronic communication and fibre optic components to industrial electronic markets. They say it is now "operating ahead of expectation".
Acal supplies products mainly across Europe and South Africa.
