The merger between PhoneXtra and Strategic Products and Services (SPS) has been completed, it has been announced.
PhoneXtra as a company name will disappear as part of the deal, with the combined group entitled Strategic Products and Services.
Financial details of the agreement between the two converged communications solutions firms were not revealed, although expansion and improved services were suggested as the main reasons for the two entities joining forces.
Commenting on the merger, PhoneXtra's founder and former chief executive John Negri remarked: "The combined SPS and PhoneXtra resources and experience complement our market coverage, enable us to expand our capacity and explore new solution offers to best serve our customers."
Earlier this year, SPS was given Diamond Elite level partner status from Extreme Networks.
The firm was already a Platinum Certified, Avaya Business Partner and has been named partner of the year numerous times by the multi-billion-dollar telecommunications company.
