RT Media has made an investment into two Bournemouth-based enterprises.
As well as agency Ozone Creative, it has completed its acquisitions of social media training and consultancy company SocialTech.
The move came after RT Media carried out a review of its business as it wanted to generate growth by investing in new resources and skills.
It believes these latest acquisitions will enable it to expand into other areas of online communications and media, thus improving the service it offers to both national and international customers.
Director and founder of SocialTech Luke Williams said the merger was an "obvious fit".
This was "in terms of culture and approach and as a logical extension of their brand communication to offer an extended range of service".
Founder of Ozone Tony Ridgway, who established the business in 2000 with Russ French and John Green, added that the potential of the collaboration is already beginning to be realised.
