Transam Microsystems has been taken over by Eurodata Systems in the latest acquisition news from London.
The specialist provider of IT infrastructure services was purchased for an undisclosed sum in a deal designed to speed up Eurodata's growth, the latter's co-founder Simon Aron explained.
According to the spokesman, "the companies are an ideal fit" with a large range of "highly complementary" products.
"Our combined skill sets, expertise and experience will provide customers with unrivalled levels of technical insight, service and support," he remarked.
As a result of the takeover, Eurodata will now be able to offer numerous new products to its clients, including software-as-a-service and Microsoft Licensing and Software Asset Management.
Earlier in 2008, Eurodata - an IT business solutions company - was given the award of Security Partner of the Year by Microsoft.
It was also recently shortlisted for a CRN Award for being the year's best integrator firm.
