Acresso Software has followed up Monday's purchase of Intraware Incorporated by announcing that it has acquired the Tracker product from LinkRight Software.
The company did not reveal how much it paid to take over the technology, but suggested it will be incorporated into its FLEXnet Manager Suite in order to improve the service it offers.
Mark Bishof, Acresso's chief executive and president, suggested that the expanded product should prove particularly popular in financially challenging times, as firms look to cut down on how much they spend on software.
"Using technology like FLEXnet Manager Suite, companies can use existing software more efficiently through centralised management of usage and stop spending on unnecessary new software and maintenance fees," he remarked.
The recent acquisitions have highlighted what appears to be a busy few months for Acresso, which launched the latest version of InstallShield - arguably its most famous product - earlier this year.
