Harvey Nash has announced a strategic partnership with Alcatel-Lucent which sees the creation of a new subsidiary company.
As part of the deal, the recruitment firm has also signed a 54 million (£45 million) business processing outsourcing deal with the IT and telecoms firm.
The chief executive officer of Harvey Nash, Albert Ellis, stated that the new company created by the deal - dubbed Nash Technologies - will be a centre of excellence for research and development in the field of wireless technology.
According to Mr Ellis, the deal will bring significant benefits to the group's client base.
He said: "Harvey Nash is delighted to have the opportunity to build further upon its strategically important outsourcing service and are pleased to be able to support a significant global player in the wireless telecommunications market."
The deal will run from October 1st 2008 to December 31st 2010.
Harvey Nash has offices spanning three continents, with a presence in more than 30 cities.
