Singularity is to work with a Japanese insurance provider, the company has announced.
The software provider sealed a deal to streamline key business processes at Tokio Marine Global, a division of Tokio Marine and Nichido Fire Insurance, Japan's largest non-life insurance firm.
Singularity's specialist software - the Singularity Process Platform (SPP) - will be used by the Japanese firm to automate the underwriting process.
The SPP enables businesses to simplify tasks throughout a work process, thus improving the efficiency of an operation.
Singularity had to beat off some of its largest competitors to secure the deal.
IT manager of Tokio Marine Global Steve Perkins says the SPP will deliver "real improvements" at his firm.
"We selected Singularity because they are easy to work with and took the effort to understand our needs.
"Their software has the strength we require but yet is easy to use," Mr Perkins explains.
Founded in 1994, Singularity operates worldwide and has offices in London, New York, Singapore, India and Ireland.
