Three media companies in Yorkshire have merged to create one new media and technology firm.
Kohd has been formed from the consolidation of Leeds-based design company Mediant, Skipton website firm Thorpe Enterprises and software business Idealogic.
All three companies will now move to a shared office and studio base near Skipton to operate as the new media and technology organisation.
"This is a tough climate for many businesses but our approach makes us more capable of growth in current market conditions," explains group managing director Chris Dutton.
Kohd has an annual turnover of more than £2 million and over 20 staff.
Terry Thorpe, founder of Thorpe Enterprises has become group chairman and Len Buck, who formed Idealogic, is business development director.
Kohd's services will cover media, marketing, design, 3D and web solutions and it aims to provide tailored solutions to meet individual requirements.
Clients include Asda, Apple, the NHS, Tesco, Barclays and Sky.
