Aragon Consulting Group, a software outsourcing firm, has announced the acquisition of Krugle.
Founded in 2005, Krugle develops technology to solve code maintenance and software development issues, with high-profile clients including American Express, Microsoft and Motorola.
Aragon will now incorporate Krugle offerings into its portfolio and will continue to support development activities at the firm.
In particular, Aragon says the acquisition enables development team collaboration, real-time visibility in outsourced software development and almost zero defects at lower costs.
The purchase will further the Next.0 Delivery Platform at Aragon, the firm says.
Nagi Prabhu, chief executive officer at Aragon, describes traditional outsourcing as "broken", arguing that Argon's offering provides an improved solution.
"The Krugle acquisition provides us with another innovative technology that will advance the Next.0 Delivery Platform and help Aragon drive the next wave of outsourcing growth," he says.
Aragon oversees software projects, in terms of design, development and testing.
