WebCertain has announced the acquisition of Multidicta Translations for an undisclosed sum.
This is the first acquisition from WebCertain and the firm suggests the deal may be the first of many.
Leeds-based Multidicta Translations provides services such as translation, interpreting and multilingual typesetting as well as website and software localisation.
WebCertain says the deal will enable it to provide improved integrated search engine optimisation and localisation to clients with global websites.
Andy Atkins-Kruger, managing director of WebCertain, said that the big benefit for clients is that the firm is now able to offer a broad range of services in-house.
He explained: "By handling all of these functions within a single organisation, clients will have the benefit of a much simpler and more cost-efficient service with projects handled in a seamless manner."
Mr Atkins-Kruger founded WebCertain in 1997, in response to problems he faced promoting his company's web site via search engines throughout Europe.
