UK-based Vodafone and dtac, one of Thailand's leading telecoms firms have announced the details of a partner market agreement.
The strategic link-up is intended to help both firms serve the needs of their customers in the Thai market, bringing mutual benefits to the two firms.
As part of the deal, dtac gets access to Vodafone's range of products, services and markets in Thailand.
Its customers will also be able to take advantage of improved voice and data roaming facilities across 67 countries.
For Vodafone, the tie-up enables it to offer roaming access for its customers visiting the Asian nation.
Commenting on the deal Hatem Dowidar, chief executive officer of Vodafone Partner Markets, said the agreement will "strengthen its presence and brand recognition across Asia".
"Mobile usage in Thailand is growing steadily and more of our customers require enhanced roaming services to and from the region," she explained.
Vodafone has recently announced a new appointment, with Samuel Jonah joining the board as a non-executive director.
