The firm has released details of four acquisitions over the last 90 days, investment which Tech Data says expand the company's product and customer portfolio, while leveraging its existing infrastructure.
It has boosted its position in the mid-range server market with the acquisition of certain assets of Compumedi, an IBM distributor, expanded its presence in Portugal with the purchase of assets from Investronica's operation, and has picked up parts of Man and Machine's German-based Autodesk distribution operations.
Furthermore, Tech Data has opened a new Brightstar Europe sales office in Germany, staffed with experienced telecoms professionals.
Robert M Dutkowsky, Tech Data's chief executive officer, commented: "These transactions add breadth and strength to our organization and reinforce Tech Data's position as the largest IT distributor in Europe."
Tech Data recently climbed three spots on the Fortune 500 to 102.
