SCC, part of Europe's largest private IT group Specialist Computer Holdings (SCH), has moved from wholly-owned to global business partner relationships in Germany and Italy.

The Birmingham-based firm sold its trading business in Germany to Burotex Systemhaus and its operations in Italy to the Bartolini Progetti Group.

Both businesses will retain the SCC brand until October 31st 2009.

Sir Peter Rigby, chief executive of SCH, said in a statement that the decision to divest SCC Germany and SCC Italy was part of a continuing focus on profitability.

"In the current trading climate, our focus is on maintaining our track record of profitable organic growth, which may be underpinned by transactions, sale or acquisition," he commented.

Mr Rigby also commented that revenues for the group are "robust" in spite of economic pressures.

SCH had a strong finish to its financial year, which spanned the 12 months ended March 31st 2009, reporting a 17 per cent increase in revenue.ADNFCR-1833-ID-19154028-ADNFCR
