Antenna Software has acquired Dexterra in a move that will see the combined company set a new standard for enterprise mobility.
The acquisition means customers and partners of both companies will benefit from more powerful technology, a broader portfolio of solutions and greater choice, it is stated.
Combined, the firm will embrace diverse systems and devices, offer more flexibility for mobile application development and allow organisations to scale multiple mobility initiatives.
"Our combined strengths will enable us to provide our enterprise customers and partners with proven mobile and wireless solutions that are grounded in a wealth of industry expertise and fortified by Antenna's strong financial position and experienced management team," commented Jim Hemmer, president and chief executive officer of Antenna Software.
Last year, Antenna experienced strong growth, fuelled by innovations to the Antenna Mobility Platform and major customer successes.
It outgrew the market in the number of users deployed and acquired the key assets of mobile field service solutions firm Vettro Corporation.
