The latest telecoms mergers and acquisitions are set to be discussed in Singapore on November 5th and 6th as the TMT Finance and Investment Asia event prepares to convene.

Telecoms executives, investment bankers and professional intermediaries will gather at the Grand Hyatt in Singapore to examine the state of the market, including the Telecom Leadership Round Table which will feature executives from the leading international telecom operators.

Topics up for discussion include wireless telecoms, mobile networking and cloud computing, as well as the legal implications of the evolving internet landscape and a series of presentations by keynote speakers.

A mergers and acquisitions panel with representatives from Goldman Sachs, Barclays, HSBC and other financial giants will also be present.

Dominic Lowndes, managing director of the TMT Group commented: "The event is highly opportune as acquisitive Asian telcos lead the surge in telecom dealflow, following the $23 billion (£13.9 billion) Bharti MTN merger and $13 billion (£7.9 billion) investment in Zain."ADNFCR-1833-ID-19364543-ADNFCR
