Software developer Godel Technologies Europe, which has its headquarters in Manchester, has announced a merger with Velum, a London firm which specialises in content management and cloud computing systems.
Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed, but the combined entity will continue to trade as Godel Technology, employing some 55 staff across its London and Manchester offices and an annual turnover of £2 million.
It will also enjoy the benefits of a development centre on a technology park in Minsk.
"The merger with Velum will start to open new opportunities for Godel, enabling us to offer our clients a broader service and ensure we keep one step ahead of the competition," commented Terry Bland, managing director of Godel.
Godel recently announced that it is currently seeking new opportunities in the European Union, following a meeting with delegates from the Serbian government in Minsk earlier this month.
