Tres Estrellas Enterprises has entered into a definitive merger agreement with California-based IN Media Corp, a developer of internet protocol television (IPTV).
The partnership, which marks a shift in Tres Estrella's strategy towards the IPTV industry, is hoped to contribute towards its plan to deliver an integrated broadcast and internet set top box service to customers.
"We are excited to join in partnership with IN Media," commented Jose Chavez, president of Tres Estrellas.
"This allows Tres Estrellas and its investors to be part of the dynamic world of internet television."
The organisation believes that as internet-based content becomes more pervasive, the demand for an integrated solution that can be combined with a household television will escalate rapidly.
It follows news that shareholders of Ideation Acquisition have approved a $176.7 million (£106.5 million) merger with SearchMedia International, a media firm based in China.
