miRoamer, a software solution for enhanced internet radio entertainment owned by Mi Media Holdings, has completed the acquisition of the streaming music services of Australian radio company Stripe.
The new service, which will be rebranded as miRoamer Platinum and launched in early 2010, will allow premier brand customers to create their own music channels.
Additionally, the acquisition gives miRoamer full ownership of Stripe's catalogue and music programming assets, including 35 channels covering music, news, talk, sports and comedy.
"The basis of this acquisition underwrites the rapid evolvement of Internet media delivery and once again Mi Media Holdings is the first to find the pathway to connect the market to the most exciting technology changes of the next decade," commented George Parthimos, founder and chief executive officer of Mi Media.
Last month, Mi Media Holdings commenced trading on the First Quotation Board of the open market on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, providing access to European capital markets.
