Adtech Global Solutions (AGS), a provider of computer technology platforms for industry-leading applications, has acquired the key intellectual property and business operations of Telindus Surveillance Solutions (TSS).
TSS, part of the Belgacom Group, is the joint developer of Steelbox, a high-quality video surveillance solution and the acquisition is also expected to add video management software to AGS' portfolio.
Sean Huggett, the new operations director at Telindus UK, said that TSS has in the past developed, installed and supported Steelbox technology for projects in the UK, Belgium, Switzerland, Russia and Korea.
"It makes perfect sense for these highly complementary products to be developed and deployed as part of the same holistic solution and this transaction benefits customers, Telindus and AGS alike," he commented.
"AGS remains a key partner to Telindus UK."
Last month, AGS opened a new central European office near Munich, Germany, from which it will serve customers in the region.
