Dolf has considerable experience in investment banking in the media and telecommunications industries. After an early career in strategic management consulting with The MAC Group he joined Hambros Bank to focus on Mergers and Acquisitions. In 1997 he joined the investment banking arm of WestLB, where he founded the Media & Telecommunications team and became Executive Director TMT Investment Banking. After six years with WestLB Dolf joined Dawnay Day Corporate Finance as Managing Director of its newly established Media division and moved on to Pall Mall Capital in 2004 to develop the company's position in the converging IT, telecoms and media sectors.
Over the years Dolf has gained experience with a wide variety of transactions in the TMT sector including IPOs, secondary issues, Private Placements and Private Equity investments, in addition to Mergers & Acquisitions. He has worked with clients in many different segments of the TMT industry including, radio, television, publishing, music, mobile content and marketing, Cable TV, fixed and mobile telecommunications, film production and distribution, merchandising, advertising, outdoor, e-commerce, gaming, telecoms technology, etc.
Dolf has a degree in Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and an MBA from INSEAD. Apart from English, he is fluent in Dutch, German and French.
